I liked the first book so much that it was a delight to find the story of this family and their small town continued in this book. New storyline interconnected with characters you know from book one and new characters to root for make this book a joy to read. I am on to book three now. I love this second installment in the Home series. Alcea O'Malley is a character you root for & the entire family is a hoot. It's a story of hope, struggle & laughter. Get the whole series - you won't be sorry!
Alcea O'Malley knows how biblical Job felt as she believes her life cannot get much worse. The once proud woman learned the hard way that her ex-spouse cheated on her when they were married. Their divorce left her with little money and now she has lost her home.
Back in Cordelia, Missouri, a depressed Alcea meets Dakota "Dak" Jones, whom she loved years ago. He helps her begin the climb out of rock bottom. As he assists her overcome her woes, their youthful love reignites and blossoms into an adult forever love. However, he has hid his feelings of guilt that coaxed him into helping her because his family is a prime reason for her downward spiral and he has his own demonic shortcomings that make him feel unworthy of Alcea. She realizes she must surmount his feelings of inadequacy by doing for him what he did for her.
FOLLOW ME HOME is an intriguing contemporary romance starring a woman whose life fell apart at every turn (initially has a soap opera feel of trauma following disaster, etc.), but she comes back with the help of the man she loves. The story line contains a solid cast, but belongs predominantly to the beleaguered heroine. As she recovers her equilibrium, Alcea brings the message of hope to Dak and to readers that even when life seems at its darkest believe in your self worth and you can do anything.

i read the first book in this series and couldn't wait to continue. I've got all 5 and hope Jerri Corgeat keeps writing more.The characters are intesting and complicated but things tie up neatly-just the way i like it.
Second the series. It is a good book and I really enjoyed it. Will be checking to see if she wrote any more.
I really enjoyed the book, couln't put it down till finished.Jerry is a good writer, I'll read all of them.
I shouldn't need to write a review for a purchase for a gift or for someone else. My friend was thrilled to get it. She likes that author very much.
I much preferred the first book in the series, mainly because I don't really care for the main characters in this one. Alcea and Dak did evolve somewhat by the end of the book, as did Florida. By then it was too late, I just didn't care. There were plenty of twists and turns and the premise was alright.
